Healthy Wins

Saturday I went to the beach with my friends. We had bagels and bacon for breakfast. Pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw and pasta salad for lunch. Dinner was taco salads, and to top it all off, dessert was brownies and ice cream.


I only snacked once and it was on veggies. The only healthy option of the day.


My stomach was so distended, bloated and upset the whole hour and 30 minutes ride home.


So yesterday, I got back to fueling my my body with my regular healthy foods and exercising.


Yesterday morning I had a migraine and all I wanted was a little pop (I’m not a coffee drinker) to kick it in the butt. Pop makes me bloated and feel like crap, so I didn’t give in and stuck to water ✔️


After I got rid of my migraine, I knew I needed to move my body. I didn’t feel like it. BUT I knew how much better I’d feel afterwards. So a Jillian Michaels workout it was! It kicked my butt and I almost sold on myself, but I persevered and stuck with it to the end ✔️


I felt 1000% better than I did Sunday morning. Healthy eating and exercise truly make me feel my best.


What micro healthier choices can you make daily? Consistent micro wins are what create macro results in the long run.
