Looking at the Whole Picture

This week has been all about those healthy vibes.
Protein packed (chicken or fish) meals, salads, veggies, fruit and whipped cream instead of cake on my birthday, and a lettuce wrap instead of a bun on my burger when out to dinner last night.
I led my fitness challenge 6 days this week. I also went to Zumba once and most of BodyPump one day
Today, I went to the doctor and was weighed.
I gained weight....
I was in self beat up for a bit.
BUT...
I reminded myself of all the healthy choices I made.
I reminded myself that muscle weighs more than fat.
I reminded myself that I’m not a number on the scale.
Sometimes you make all the “right” choices and do all the things you “should” be doing and you add on, not shed pounds.
What’s important is that you showed up and that you made the more effective choices. Be proud of yourself for that 💜💪🏻👏🏻
