Make it Up and Have Fun Along the Way

On Tuesday, I made up my own home workout.


I had a small pocket of time where I could fit in some exercise before dinner. So I turned on a Spotify workout playlist and went to town.


I didn’t overthink what exercise to do next, I just kept moving my body.


30 minutes later, I was hot, sweaty and exhausted.


I’m proud of myself for making up my own workout on the spot.


I’m proud of myself for not copping out and truly giving it my all. Sometimes when we don’t have someone else motivating or pushing us, we cop out on ourselves. We don’t work as hard.


Let me tell you, I worked out just like I would if a group fitness instructor or trainer had been there telling me what to do.


It’s all a choice. It’s intrinsic motivation. Are we going to push ourselves physically and mentally get through it OR are we going to sell ourselves short?


I’ve shared a clip of my workout and what I did as an example.
