Eating healthy does not need to be hard when going out to eat.
I had a crazy, busy week. However, amidst the chaos, still found time to fit in quick workouts. My nutrition this week wasn’t bad, but wasn’t the best.
So when my guy and I went out to dinner last night, I chose a place where I could make a healthy choice.
He may have judged/kind of teased me for “making a healthy choice,” however, I did me, boo.
I am a woman who knows herself well and knows her boundaries around food, fitness, and alcohol (he was shocked when I told him I haven’t been drunk since December 2014...I’ve consumed alcohol since, but not in excess). When I have goals/a mission, I am fierce/unwavering in my boundaries. I know what choices to make in order to keep feeling my best.
If you want a salad or healthy option either at a restaurant or at home, and someone is trying to persuade you to make a not so healthy choice, I encourage you to stick with your decision. Your body will thank you. The goals you are crushing will thank you.
Remember, NOT people pleasing and NOT CAVING IN is OKAY. Especially when it comes to our health and wellbeing.
